**Bug Report for Make.md Plugin Mobile Version on Obsidian**
Introduction
The Make.md plugin is excellent but has critical bugs in Obsidian's mobile version. Since I primarily use my phone—more portable and practical than a computer—these flaws significantly impact my experience.
Identified Bugs
-
Horizontal Layout Bug
- Description: In the mobile version, files cannot be placed side-by-side (horizontally) in a "space." Files are forced into a vertical stack, even when importing a desktop-configured "space" with horizontal layout. When opened on mobile, the view appears distorted and limited to vertical alignment.
-
Vault Menu Browser Bug
- Description: Obsidian’s vault menu is not displayed in the mobile browser. This prevents access to essential features like hidden file management.
-
Hidden Files Bug
- Description: Due to the missing vault menu (Bug #2), there is no option to unhide files in the mobile version. The desktop options simply do not appear.
-
Element Customization Bug
- Description: Custom elements cannot be added below a file in a "space" on mobile. The required options are not displayed, limiting customization.
Final Notes
- These 4 bugs were identified after comparative testing between the desktop (used only for validation) and mobile (my primary platform) versions.
- I recommend a detailed analysis of desktop vs. mobile version differences to align features and fix inconsistencies.
- Despite these issues, the plugin remains valuable. However, its mobile usability is compromised, affecting users prioritizing portable devices.
Thanks for reporting. Aware of 1 and 4 and will be addressed soon. For the menu items they were added into the obsidian commands menu in the last update to address this
