Kanban view adds one extra empty column to the left, and columns cannot be sorted

When adding a new kanban view to a space based on a property (e.g. "status", which is of type "option"), an empty column will always appear to the left and it cannot be removed. Furthermore, the order of the columns cannot be changed by the user
