BUG/plugin conflict: links and make.md plugin (adding link with a shortcut)

I have enabled both make.md and Links community plugins.

Within Links plugin I have created a hotkey to create a new link.

It creates this type of link: random text --- i select the text, click ctr+s and it turns it to ---->>> [[random text|my select alias/text to be displayed]]

It works perfectly when i add this manually, but it doesnt work when I use links plugin hotkey. (when make.md plugin is enabled it doesnt work, it works fine when make.md is disabled)_

What happens instead, when I hit ctrl+s, is that the link is not added and i get these errors in console:

I love the plugin, but its really a shame it doesnt work :(
