[Feature Request] - Ability to customise highlight colours (mk-color-*)

Open bryanrossUK opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

I wanted to change the highlight colours so that they were easier to read and generally more pleasing on the eye. Forgive me if there's already a better way of doing this, I'm pretty new to Obsidian.

It would be great if this some customisable in the Make.MD settings.

I put together the following CSS Snippet, borrowing some inspiration from the rather excellent Highlightr plugin. I was really tempted to use that plugin, as I know that highlighting might be removed from Make.MD. But, for the time being, the ability to create highlights using the inline Flow editing is just beautiful!

body {
  --mk-color-blue: #ADCCFFA6 !important;
  --mk-color-green: #BBFABBA6 !important;
  --mk-color-orange: #FFBB86CA6 !important;
  --mk-color-purple: #D2B3FFA6 !important;
  --mk-color-red: #FF5582A6 !important;
  --mk-color-turquoise: #ABF7F7A6 !important;
  --mk-color-yellow: #FFF3A3A6 !important;
  --mk-color-charcoal: #333333A6 !important;
  --mk-color-teal: #008080A6 !important;
  --mk-color-pink: #FFB8EBA6 !important;
  --mk-color-brown: #8B4513A6 !important;
  --mk-color-gray: #CACFD9A6 !important;
  --mk-color-black: #000000A6 !important;
}
