Spaces incredibly slow when viewing a folder of many files

Open robrecord opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

I'm finding working with this plugin, promising as it is, is like moving through treacle.

For example, making a space for my daily notes, I am regretting it. It was slow to begin with, then after enabling flow, I'm waiting 30+ seconds at a time for anything to respond. (2019 Intel i9.)

I've disabled nearly all my other plugins just to see what the matter was, and it turns out this plugin is doing it all by itself.

I'm asking for some optimisation, if that's not rude to ask for. Thanks for a fine plugin otherwise.

Thanks for the feedback. This is definitely one of the priorities in the short term. Just for reference, please let me know how many notes are in your vault. Currently there is known performance issues after 1000 notes, the short term goal is to get smooth performance for 10k notes on last gen hardware.

thank you @jp-cen

Is there an easy way to tell or should I reach for the command line?

Have the same problem when having a db of daynotes. Lazy loading is needed indeed.
