I'm running xfwm4 version 4.12.3-1 as part of Manjaro XFCE. I can't find libvte as an installed package. Does it go by any other names?

It looks like the issue may be intermittent. I just had a boot with Tilda auto-launching successfully with transparency. Subsequent reboots auto-launched Tilda without transparency.

GitHub Desktop for macOS does in fact come with git. It's located inside the application package at `GitHub Desktop.app/Contents/Resources/app/git/bin/git`. It doesn't seem to be configured for direct CLI use, however....
