Any change to the gesture bar will make it not "modular" like it's supposed to be in Android 12

The first video shows how the stock gesture bar acts while the second one shows the modified bar with more width and thickness. Notice how the stock one moves with the app and stuff

i don't know if it's a big deal, tbh i prefer the bottom one. Besides that, i don't have idea why that's happened

Exactly how it should be. The bar follows your finger as you swipe

If anyone stumbled upon this thread, I've found a solution. Just look up AOSP mods. It's being actively maintained
