Magisk 24+ compatibility
As of Magisk 24, the modules repo is unusable, but modules can add their own update URLs.
Quoting Magisk 24.0's changelog:
Due to lack of time and maintenance, the centralized Magisk-Modules-Repo was frozen, and the functionality to download modules from the repo is removed in v24.0. As a supplement, module developers can now specify an
updateJsonURL in their modules. The Magisk app will use that to check, download, and install module updates.
Please add an update URL to the module and direct download for the module. In the meantime, I'll try following Magisk's module development guide to make the .zip or whatever myself.
Edit: You may need to change the canonical location of this repo too. It may be worth officially moving to an unofficial Magisk modules repo, such as Magisk-Modules-Alt-Repo.
Any update on Magisk24 compatibility ?
I've been watching this in hope, but I ended up just manually installing it instead (via direct copying the files to the correct locations). A module would definitely be preferable.
How do we manually install this module? Could anyone make a guide? The latest version still works for me but I don't have the file to install it anymore.

F-Droid Basic is a new 'lighter' app that allows Android 13+ devices to get automatic updates in the background on already installed apps. Check it out on their website. This means no more need for Magisk modules.
