Accessibility Improvements for Screen Reader Support
Hello, Thank you for creating this amazing application! I am blind and rely on screen reader software to navigate applications. However, I’ve encountered some accessibility challenges while using your app. Currently, the edit boxes and buttons are not labeled adequately, so the screen reader only announces them as "edit box" or "button," without explaining their purpose. For example, it doesn’t say if a specific edit box is for entering a question, answer one, answer two, etc., or if a button is for submitting, saving, or performing another action. This makes it difficult to use the app independently. Could you please add accessibility labels or placeholders to each edit box and button? For example: • Use accessible labels like "Question input," "Answer one input," or "Submit button." • If possible, add placeholder text as hints (e.g., "Type the question here" or "Enter answer one here") so screen readers can announce them. Additionally, it would be very helpful to include keyboard shortcuts for performing various actions, such as saving, submitting, or navigating between inputs. Keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl + key or Ctrl + Shift + key combinations would allow blind users to perform tasks quickly and efficiently, without needing to move around objects to find specific options. I also hope you consider the needs of blind and visually impaired users when designing the application. Everyone has the right to use applications independently, and adding accessibility features ensures inclusivity for all. Some improvements has been made with this in the new update, but I will keep this issue open because not all windows and features are checked yet. When this is fully done, this issue will be then closed and available for everyone in a future update.
