Swipe ability to change folders?

Depending on what I do I want to focus different folders. Instead of assigning a button why not utilize the touch screen capabilities?

Alternatively

• A panel you can drag from the sides showing all folders that are clickable.
• Show folders as tab ( customizable, any edge would work )
