26.1 update - no prompts over night but woke up to a force install
I can send you logs if it would help. The S.U.P.E.R.M.A.N. 5.1.0-rc1 agent saw the user to be logged in all night. Although the laptop was closed in his case.

I'm also seeing the same behaviour with rc1. It appears to be consuming a deferral every 60 minutes while it waits for the update to download. Then, when it's finally downloaded, I'm out of deferrals and prompted to force install.

Yup same issue here on 15.7.1 and 26.01 for minor OS versions. I do have blueprints enabled which auto download OS (doesn't install).
I ran this via policy on a couple of test machines to force download OS
softwareupdate --download --all --force
and then ran super again, started seeing the prompts. It could be that Super can't find downloaded OS or is waiting for OS to download before showing prompts..

My issue is not with the downloading of updates. But with the Superman starting in the middle of the night when the Mac is asleep, and seeing that the OS logs the user in. The prompt never showed, but it timed out, so a defer was used. Since we are set to 8 deferrals, the user was forced to update when they opened their Mac in the Morning.
Ok perhaps your case is different though worth checking your default defferal times, should ideally be between 180 and 360, anything less will run super much quicker when unattended.
I Also know for a fact if your logs don't show this

then it doesn't matter what time the super runs, prompt will not show.
I pushed software download command to 100s of devices today and later on all of them had prompts showing up.
My logs were identical to @armandosiliezar and @sanjinr before OS was ready for super, these are my current settings and they work like a charm now on all devices, once OS has been downloaded
