With a big intersection, you get a lot of lines which are hard to keep track off; I suggest being able to group lines into folders or groups. You'd be able to name them and keep track of a bunch of lines with a similar function and know exactly what each line does at a glance in the ui.

Why would this idea be a good addition to IMT?

Currently the biggest hinderance for me and im sure others is how disorganized it feels to draw a complicated intersection and I think that this would help enormously to get a concise overview as you're drawing the intersection.
