Cannot launch Previews in projects containing libSetapp

The preview error

XOJITError: Universal binary /Users/me/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/MyApp/
Build/Products/Debug/libSetapp.a does not contain a slice for arm64e-apple-macosx21.1

macOS 15.3 (24D60) Setapp 4.2.2 (via SPM) Xcode Version 16.2 (16C5032a)

It seems this can be worked around by enabling Editor > Canvas > Use Legacy Previews Execution, but surely that is not ideal.
