Is this library dead? Or does anybody have a solid fork?

Just trying to find out if this library is dead or just serious lacking in active support?

I see there are tons of forks, but the few I've checked are not current. I figure I should fork it and go, but wanted to find out the status, since there are so many open issues before taking the time.

Hello guys i made a rapid implementation and implemented foreground service instead and updated the android-library alt beacon as well, you can reference or use the below if your still having issues.
