keyboard shortcut for larger/smaller text in editor

I end up wanting to increase/decrease my text size a lot in a text editor depending on what I'm doing with it (external monitor? full screen? small window of bullet points?). It would be awesome to have a shortcut (or just menu item) to make this quicker.
