macOS Sonoma 14.2 beta 3: 100% CPU usage (Intel) and other issues

I know that MacDown is kind of abandoned but just for the record I would like to report some issues I've notices in macOS Sonoma on Intel systems:

  • Running MacDown on macOS Sonoma 14.2 beta 3 (23C5047e) causes the CPU to run at 100% on Intel systems
  • "OpenRecent" sub-menu contains empty entries:
    Bildschirmfoto 2023-11-19 um 13 33 12

I really hope that someone will fork this repo and continue to work on it to keep MacDown alive because it's the best Markdown Editor around, imo.

The CPU usage issue was resolved with the macOS 14.3 update.
