Feature Request: Co-planar waveguide on inner layer
I'm really enjoying using alterpcb-tlinesim, but I'd like to request a feature. Currently it has the ability to simulate co-planar waveguides on outer layers, but I'd love to have the ability to simulate them on inner layers as well. I'm currently using MDTLC by kgoulet, but I find its interface very clunky. I much prefer the interface of alterpcb.
Thanks,
Adam
I'm adding a few new transmission line types for multi-layer PCBs. Do you want a coplanar waveguide with ground planes above and below, like a stripline? Or a buried coplanar waveguide without a ground plane above?
I'd want it with ground planes above and below, basically like stripline, but being able to factor in adjacent ground pours on the same layer.
