Character eyes blink texture issue

In the prison they basically blink and disappear. Probably happens anywhere they are spawned.
The crane that appears after you get squall back also blinks.

that's really weird issue- maybe something with constant texture size is making it to allow for blinking or not Workaround: Create moomba texture by duplicating it's texture and making 1536x768 when scale is 2x
CyanFire's Moomba workaround: 'patched' by removing a single pixel from the edge of one of the sides of the texture.
Please provide a save and I'll take a look what game engine exactly is doing and why deleting one pixel makes the game magically not-crash (makes no sense for me from the logic side, but I might have been missing something simple)

Copied from other issue: -Zell's mom blinks out of existence -Rinoa blinks out of existence but rinoa only does when she's piggyback on squall.
It's a global eye blinking issue. Not sure why yet, but it seems like some additional code needs to be wrapped as hinted by MCINDUS
The original title was descriptive of the most obvious symptom - I vaguely recall Zell's mother blinking in and out but it wasn't as severe, and therefore not as memorable/annoying, as the Moombas blinking on and off. I was about to report a separate issue before I read this - just as well I did.
I haven't yet got up to the part where Squall carries Rinoa.
Just noting that Norg's body seems to be another case of blinking/flickering.
Noting Rinoa's dog, Angelo, blinks at Edea's house - the scene just after rescuing Rinoa from the Sorceress Memorial.
The outer parts of the Ultimecia model blinks in and out, in the ending scene where Squall witnesses Edea accepting her powers.
Problem vanishes, when user is using official textures without mods. Idk- seems weird. If they do the blinking via UV, then it wouldn't matter what resolution you have. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually used some limit that checks texture size for upper limit and disables eye-blinking lol
So the blinking goes away when only using Demastered on its own, no other modifications? Maybe I'll try that next time I play.
Yes- but that's totally unacceptable behaviour. The blinking should be available for HD modded textures too. I'll be searching for it
