[Feature Request] Unit convertor target operator

Open derei opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Currently, the Unit Converter target operator is >> , but on most android keyboards, the ”>" symbol is not present on main keyboard, but in symbols. And in my particular case (I'm using Floris), it's even on the second symbols keyboard. This can be annoying.

Suggestion: add another target operator, as equivalent: "to". So, the following two strings would do the same thing: 1 m >> in 1 m to in

As a tangential question, why is it necessary to have a blank space between the numerical value and unit? As one is numerical and the other is alphabetic, it wouldn't be difficult to parse it. This is just a thought to make typing faster and less prone to mistakes (by forgetting to type a space).
