[Bug] Weird behavior (screen updates don't happen)

Sometimes when I exit apps to home screen, the launcher starts behaving weirdly. While it still switches between home screen and app drawer and can open apps, no visual updates happen. Opening another app and switching back shows the real state of the launcher, but new updates still don't happen.

I can still open the launcher's settings by going into my phone's settings because it's set as the home app and there is a shortcut, that's how I got the logs. This way the settings screen works fine, but the launcher is still weird when I go back to it.

The issue is no longer present after stopping the app. I haven't found a way to reproduce it reliably. Sometimes it happens several times a day, sometimes it doesn't happen for weeks.

My device

This happened on both Android 14 and GrapheneOS, my phone is Pixel 6a.
