Samsung one handed operation+ opens the wrong app when using 'previous app' action on home screen

Instead of opening the last app it opens second to last app. Recents screen otherwise looks correct and switching to the last app with two recents button presses works fine. The shortcut instantly opens the previous app without showing recents so I assume that's why it doesn't work.

The action works correctly on nova, cpl etc, so I think it's an issue with the launcher. It's not unique to this tho as every other launcher I've tried on fdroid also has the same issue. Lawnchair's play store (v2) version works correctly and could be used for figuring it out
