[Feature Request] Optional number of apps in dock

Could there be an option to select the number of apps in the dock, which won't affect the number of apps in the drawer row?

I like to have 4 apps in the dock, but for the app drawer to have, say, 5 columns....

Also, I would like the icon size to be adjusted separately for the dock and for the app drawer....

This would be phenomenally useful - I have the opposite situation; I'd put 7 columns in the dock and 6 in the drawer.
