what version of kml is supported?

What version of kml is supported? There are at least a few versions and I was wondering what the supported range was. Are animations from v2.1+ supported?

KML 2.2.

However, only a subset of KML is supported. For a close look about what is supported and what is not, read the KML wiki page.

Animations are not supported.

If you have a need, don't hesitate to describe it, we will see if we add it to the roadmap.

basically i was trying to import some of the national weather service's kml files, most of which are animated. Link http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/kmzgenerator.php

I had a look. It's based on:

NetworkLink with refreshMode and refreshInterval
then, inside the NetworkLink file, TimeSpan tags.

A lot of stuff that's unsupported today... Huge work.
