[1.8.9-1.12.2] Unable to Install Module, After Uninstalling with requirement items already in inventory

Description of Issue
I am unable to install the sensor glasses module after uninstalling. I am instead given the message that I do not meet the requirements even after I have replaced both my helmet and the goggles.
Steps to Reproduce Issue
- Install sensor glasses module
- Uninstall sensor glasses module
- Attempt to install sensor glasses module

I am playing the SevTech: Ages modpack.
If anyone get this issue please comment with the answers to the above questions
The situation also can occur in 1.12.2-0.4.7. However, it will only occur when you have opened MC for 2 hours or more, and the bug can affect other saves. But restarting MC can make things back to normal.

Playing Astroblock 1.1.21 on MC 1.12.2
Extraplanets 1.12.2-0.4.6
Issue installed the no fall damage module, unistalled the module(got boots back), now can't reinstall. The module manager does not see the module.
Game shut down does not fix, full client restart fixes the issue. Testing now for the time factor mentioned above.
Which logs do you want as there is not a crash?
All of them as i cant reproduce the issue so i need all the info possible please
I've been rebooting a couple of times, once I get in the "error" condition i'll post files.
So playerdata, debug, and later logs? anything else?
I haven't been able to recreate the situation through multiple play sessions. All i can say is that during the failure condition the GUI did not show the boots "No Fall Damage Module" as present.
If I enter the condition again I'll post again, but I don't want you waiting on my reply. Sorry
@burshaz no problem, yea seems to be rare issue that i cant find the reason for, or even recreate the situation which sucks..
Hi, I know this hasn't been updated in a while, but it seems to be an issue in modpacks, such as SevTech Ages, where I am experiencing this bug currently. Because I'm playing on a server, I am unable to get my playerdata, so apologies.

Having the exact same issue as OP, happens with any module besides the sensor glasses after uninstalling it from another piece of armor

Please can you confirm you had the required items in your inventory?
100% positive I had the required items in my inventory, I had just uninstalled them from the tier 1 space suit and they were still in my inventory. I was trying to install them in the tier 2 space suit.
The GUI showed it cost nothing, there was nothing showing in the left side in the Cost column, and trying to install it again said I didn't meet the requirements.
I restarted my game immediately after I encountered the bug and uploaded those logs and the playerdata and it fixed the issue mentioned in the original post, and now I cannot reproduce the issue doing the exact same thing as before. Uninstalling modules from a Tier 1 space suit, equipping a different set of armor, and trying to install them in the new armor.

Ok yea i've never been able to reproduce the issue myself. I guess i will keep trying but its been like 2 years xD
If you get the bug again please please make a video and post it here. i been waiting months/years for someone to give a log and playerdata for this problem
The log I provided was immediately after I encountered the issue and the playerdata is right after I closed the game. If I can get it to happen again I will definitely get a video for you with Shadowplay

Omg i have just reproduced the issue. i have no idea why its broken. Im looking in to it
I have fixed the issue. @therealbungus <3 its probs down to you with your messages i was able to get more of a idea of what was breaking
Me tooo, i was so happy when i reproduced it, the fix is so easy too. i just had to add .copy() to the item stack being added to your inventory when you uninstall the module with already items in the requirements, already in your inventory of the same item.
I also found a issue where if you uninstall the module with a full inventory it crashes as well. so im fixing that also
