Challenge 2016 training dataset incomplete?

Open alvgaona opened this issue 6 years ago • 4 comments

I was wondering if the training datasets for Challenge 2016 are properly uploaded to the website. As far as I can see from other works, everyone mentions annotations in this set which I could not find after doing a proper look up in this repository. Is this ok? If it's the case, other sets apart from training-a, have no ECG recordings associated to the PCG signals which I don’t think that’d be correct if it were to be a training set.

I hope some can clear this up for me.

Thanks a million

I have the same issue and I tried to recover the complete dataset.

If you read through the challenge forum you will realize that organizers made an official post publishing an updated (and complete) version of the dataset.

Link to discussion

however, now the link is broken. The question is: has someone back upped the dataset and could share it here?

I contacted the challenge authors and they have told me that the annotations on the website should be the updated version. If you find the errors mentioned in the discussion then please do re-open this and let us know. Otherwise you can access the data files at the challenge repository: https://physionet.org/content/challenge-2016/

@alistairewj I need to re-open this. However, I cannot do that.

The dataset in the challenge is still missing annotations for sets other than set training-a. How can get the complete dataset?

@alvgaona if the annotations are not available at https://physionet.org/content/challenge-2016/1.0.0/ or https://archive.physionet.org/challenge/2016/, then I would suggest posting on the PhysioNet/CinC challenge forum.

If you are able to source the annotations, then they can be uploaded to the project page at https://physionet.org/content/challenge-2016/. PhysioNet/CinC Challenges are not handled by myself or Alistair, so we cannot source the data directly.
