Question about NEG values in labevents

Dear MIMIC-IV team,

First of all, thank you very much for your great work!

I would like to clarify the meaning of NEG values in the labevents table. Is it correct to assume that these are valid results - i.e., "negative" findings - rather than indicating a failed test? Also for the case where value is null but in comment section it says "NEG."

For example, when urine glucose is recorded as negative, should this be interpreted as "little to no glucose detected in urine"? Thank you for your time, and have a nice day!
