How to obtain past medication history from MIMICIV database？Especially in the absence of NOTE module.
There isn't much in the way of past medical history in the structured data. For the ED module, the medrecon table has past medications. Otherwise, the admission medications section of the discharge summaries in the note module are the best way to go.

What is the ED module? I know that the MIMIC-IV database has mimiciv_hosp, mimiciv_icu and mimiciv_derived modules. Can I assume that a patient will continue the same medication regimen after discharge? So I can filter patients with multiple admissions, and use medication information in the 1st admission as the past medication information of the 2nd admission?
