Is there a MIMIC-III and MIMIC-IV overlap for cases annotated with ICD-10?

Description

It is stated that there is an overlap between MIMIC-IV and MIMIC-III in the 2008-2012 period. As MIMIC-III is annotated only with ICD-9, is it safe to assume that there is no overlap for cases annotated with ICD-10?

I don't think there are any admissions in MIMIC-III with ICD-10.

The easiest way to avoid using the same patient in MIMIC-III and MIMIC-IV is to use the CareVue subset, though, as it additionally filters subjects who have admissions in both MIMIC-III/MIMIC-IV: https://physionet.org/content/mimic3-carevue/1.4/

Specifically, combining the MIMIC-III CareVue subset and MIMIC-IV is your safest option.
