GamepadExample with rapid-fire

Could you shed some light how to add rapidfire to GamepadExample?

I managed to get rapidfire but I cannot set axis ranges to (-127, 127). It seems to me that Joystick.setXAxisRange is simply ignored.

This is sketch: atari-like-rapidfire.ino.txt
