@MHeasell is probably already aware of this, but I just wanted to chime in that this error is due to the campaign maps, which only have one starting position defined. TA did not include campaign maps in the skirmish map selection menu.

Campaign maps showing in Skirmish (#1) has now been closed, but I'm going to leave this open -- the real issue here is that RWE crashes when these start positions are missing rather than checking/aborting game start in a user-friendly way.
