I know that this is not an issue, but I have a question: It bricks my device? I want to do this, but I'm afraid of bricking my device. Thank you for replying.

No it dont brick You device if You dont have on You Android root acess,

but in worse case You can run out of phone space and "brick" You device.

And need cleanup You data

Ubuntu in termux is safe, but dont download any Linux script thats You find.
