Also, when running ./startubuntu.sh I get this error: groups: cannot find name for group ID 11

In addition, typing an apt gives an illegal instruction error

ubuntu isnt in any extra emulation environment it is just a chroot on alpine and that means it uses the same kernel and architecture. Apt isnt working due to a kernel issue

I believe he is saying what I too have also experienced. That when installed and the directions are followed the result is the above error code for the output response from bash.
