Availability sensor stops reporting

Open NicoBijl opened this issue 5 years ago • 5 comments

Hi ! i have been using your app (pro version) for a few days now but i have an issue. Very often during the day the apps stops reporting. The easiest way to show this is by tracking the availability sensor: Screenshot 2019-10-01 at 22 59 07

Not only this stops reporting but also the other sensors like Location and battery status.

Phone: Oneplus 6 Android 9 disabled battery optimization for the app.

I also added a widget on my phone to see when the availability sensor is last updated, if it shows the current time everything is okay, but if its more then 15 minutes off it is not okay.

What can i do to fix this? or provide extra information?

Thanks!

Hello, Can you confirm that Ariela is running in background (and a permanent notifications is shown? )

The notification is shown, but not sure if it actually runs in the background, see attached screenshot. The time since last full charge is about 9 hours ago.

And I see this in Home Assistant log: 2019-10-06 20:39:25 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.mobile_app.webhook] Refusing to update non-registered sensor: 339fad3a1ba15a034bfd041b63ef5715b11d1c70f87a7fe03546641c6ec940d3_mobile_app_nico_phone_availability

Thank you for logs. DId you removed the integration from HA? This type of log tells that Ariela tries to send a sensor update to HA, but HA doesn't know anything about it. What you can do to solve this is to force mobile_app from credentials again, but note that you will have to see new sensors id's , automations, device tracker.
