Update custom notifications

Can you tell me more about your usecase? If you want to silence notifications for a given type you can add another rule with show notification and use mention formatting disabled (like the Disable ZNC playback notifications one).

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry for the right late response I never saw your response.

I think having something like adding another section for do not match which also uses the same three options in the dropdown so you can narrow it down to be pretty specific.. I can't definitively say a single check box would work for all the use cases I would have we're specific channels I would want specific filtering done.

I use a custom rule to get notifications on anything said in a channel so the match section is left blank. I find i get notifications on quit messages. I tried to use regex to filter out "quit" but it looks like the program doesn't pass that part of the message through and the only thing it's actually filtering is the quit message itself, ie "ping time out" or "connection closed". So to have an option to have them filtered out in the custom rule would be ideal.
