For some reason it put minecraft in my SYSTEM32 FOLDER

image HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN??? I was looking through and randomly found these folders, it explains why I can't actually find the folders in the mclauncher folder.

How did you launch the mclauncher

normally. as admin, in a normal folder. image

Seems this might happen in one of the following scenarios:

  • launching the exe from the zip directly without extracting it somewhere first
  • launching the exe from the start menu via file search

Both seem to use System32 as the CWD at least sometimes. Probably should warn if the cwd doesn't match the directory with the exe or always use the exe's directory instead.
