[1.12.2] Bug - No sounds from the game aside from music mod.

Describe the bug Music from music player is the only one sound that plays and no other sound (Ex: Walking steps , block mining etc.) plays at all.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Launch the game.
2. Notice lack of sounds other than music from minecraft music player.

Expected behavior I expected sounds from the game to run alongside music from the mod but instead they do not play at all and only music plays.
