Elimination of manual memory management (by default and/or within an init option) via JavaScript's `FinalizationRegistry`/`WeakRef`?

I've done something similar in another wasm project and although its not currently merged, it did work quite nicely. IIRC references were tracked wasm side and so the finalization registry...
