node/daemon health report

Would it be possible to have some kind of "node/daemon health report"? Something like a list of node urls with a green/red dot?

I'd like to think about it a bit, I think a health monitor as a general idea would be good for the next version. It'd be cool if that was independent from the API. That way if the front crashes miners still get an honest status on if the mining is interrupted or not.
