Firefox Blinking Issue

With the latest two (?) updates of StabMatrix, Firefox (last few versions up to the current v 124.0) goes blank for a few seconds, every couple of minutes, regardless of what you are doing.

Since Firefox does not do this with any other program, I have to conclude that it is StabMatrix which is causing this problem. This is extremely annoying to put it mildly.

If I use the Opera Browser, there is no problem, but I am rather fond of Firefox, for a number of reasons, and would prefer not to have to stop using it, unless there is absolutely no fix to this problem.

Anyone else have this problem?
