21:9 cutscenes are zoomed in
Hello, I noticed that the cutscenes appears to be zoomed in in AC Shadows. I tried 16:9 and that zoomed it out. Is the UW file supposed to work like this? Zooming in till the black bars aren't showing anymore?
It doesn't zoom out. 16:9 has letterboxing as cutscenes are displayed at a 2.37:1 aspect ratio. You don't get that letterboxing on ultrawide displays or wider as they are typically wider than 2.37:1.
Yes, I know that 16:9 has letterboxing on a 21:9 display. This mod removes the letterboxing, but it also zooms in to achieve that. I was just wondering— isn’t there a way to render cutscenes in native 21:9 without zooming in?
