Third person camera
So some may know that Metal Gear Solid 2 PC port had a mod exclusive to that version which is open source and could be reconverted if someone know how to make it work on the HD collection version.
Of course i'm talking about the substance of subsistance mod.

That mod enable the third person camera present in MGS3 subsistance and HD collection. the modder did a complete reverse engineering to make it work. the mod work flawlessly on the OG port.
Now i'm asking some of you if you could restore it for the master collection? It's an open source and everyone has access to it..
It's an open source and everyone has access to it..
Correction, while they did release the source code, the code for their mod is actually not licensed - which means that it falls under all rights reserved. It'd be considered source available, not open source. https://github.com/oct0xor/mgs2sos
https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/managing-your-repositorys-settings-and-features/customizing-your-repository/licensing-a-repository
However, without a license, the default copyright laws apply, meaning that you retain all rights to your source code and no one may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from your work.
Whomever wants to port that mod would need explicit written permission from oct0xor to use their code.
