Suggestion to increase UI resolution separate from game resolution
In order to keep my framerate high during intense fights I need to play the game in 1080p on my 1440p monitor. Unfortunately this makes the UI/confirmation dialogue boxes look blurry. Maybe there is a way to tell the game to use the resources from the higher resolution files or something? Anyway to add more clarity to the UI in 1080p would be appreciated. Thanks for all the hard work!
There's not really a way to adjust UI resolution that I've found so far. Just adjusting the scale and size. It sounds like in your case you'd be best off utilizing DLSS/FSR to upscale the game from a lower base resolution, that way the game will run internally at a lower resolution while you get the clean UI of your native resolution.
Would be nice to have an internal resolution option to reduce VRAM usage while keeping the UI at full resolution. DLSS and other upscaling doesn't seem to affect VRAM usage even on ultra performance.
I have a 4K screen but my 3080 runs out of VRAM which ends up in a slideshow after playing for a couple of hours, restarting the game usually fixes it and brings VRAM down for a while.
