PC crash when starting rendering

when i try to render my whole pc crashes and restarts by itself again.

i need some ideas what can cause the problem as i am taking my pc for repair soon.

CPU+GPU rendering places the PC under a very high load. A PC crash, in this case, is more likely to be hardware problem. Very often is the power supply to not keep up with the power requirement.

You can try to run LuxMark in stress-mode to cross check if there is a problem. If it crashes with LuxMark too, you are likely to be some kind of hardware problem.

That sounds plausible and is probably true for most cases. But once it happened where I had not assigned a material to two objects, after I had assigned a material to them it worked.

And also I am stupid how do I get LuxMark to run

I just had this problem with cycles, so it's not Luxcore and is probably a hardware issue. But thanks for the help.
