Yup it doesn't compile. This is the error it gives when trying to make install
-- Configuring done (3.1s) CMake Error: The INTERFACE_QT_MAJOR_VERSION property of "Qt6::Gui" does not agree with the value of QT_MAJOR_VERSION already determined for "lightlydecoration".
-- Generating done (0.0s)
@dmaliog @mercifulboss last commit was 2 years ago, and the author doesn't seem to be active anymore. I guess someone will have to fork it?
EDIT: looks like this is the current active fork.

Based on the screenshots I could find, Vinyl is quite different from Lightly. I haven't gotten to try it out yet, because I haven't been able to upgrade to Fedora 40. I'll try it soon, though, and it would be nice to get a quick comment on whether it visually changes anything about Lightly.

It does indeed look a bit different. Just a quick question: As the installation method is a bit unconventional and I've never done it like that, how would I remove the theme if it's not what I wanted? I'm going to give it a try, but I want to know how to properly reverse it just in case.

Please ask you question at the Vinyl's github page, so We're not polluting this discussion about Lightly talking about another theme.

That is a really nice desktop you've got right there. Would you care to share your icon theme & font choices? I really like them!
Edit: forgot to mention that the icon theme referenced in Vinyl's repo (Fluent) is not the same as the one you're using, neither is the font.

All my support to the Vinyl iniciative! Really liked this theme, especially those icons, they are really my style. Hope to use them someday!
