I think it would be a good idea under settings to put a checkbox with a warning that stops most (if not all) buttons being grayed out.

Tbh i dont think mentioning that is relevant. Using a different jre then using auto detect is probably easier than trying to manually find the jre minecraft installs

Made a pr for this in #173 but only a draft for now as snap still isnt stable yet
