To put it into perspective, I disabled the photos app entirely and my instance came back to life. Like 100% speed boost across all other apps.

This app is completely broken on 26. Even if you use the workaround to enable the app, you still get an internal server error when clicking an epub file.
I too want support for Debian, I tested the workaround on my stretch system and got an error regarding the repositories, probably because they are set up for PPAs.

Don't know, but I can tell you that it used to work fine. In Debian 11 Bullseye, it was fine. After upgrading to Bookworm I noticed this. I'm not sure...
@licaon-kter That makes a lot of sense. I'm not sure what other apps run gtk4 in bookworm so far, but I wonder if nocsd even works right with gtk4 yet....
I downgraded the package to the one from buster, which works. bullseye doesn't work once installed for some reason and neither does the one from backports. Weird errors about database...
I'm also experiencing that. I get hung up on crates, sometimes I take damage in elevators when I shouldn't, doors closing to close to me damage me when they shouldn't....
