Disabling "Fetch unread messages when account connects" loses DMs sent while offline. A proper rate limit is needed.

Also interested to know. The plugin seems to work with existing buddies that switched to the new ID, but I am hesitant to switch myself.

6 years later, people are still getting temp-banned for exceeding rate limits. Can this please be prioritized?

Muting affects other things as well. Also, not scalable with servers that have a large number of channels that they regularly add and remove
