Password entry blank character
After installing this package on a brand new and completely fresh and clean macOS Sierra, I've got a following issue:
- when typing in a password input field in the OS, like iTunes account, there is no * sign appearing when typing a character. The password is typed completely and it is accepted, but password field appears blank before submission.

I am aware of the issue and is attempting to locate a fix. Meanwhile, this is added to the "Known Issues" list.
@HiKay , the problem also happens with macOS login screen password While it can be a security feature :), just FYI. Tried new version as well
Just swinging by as I had the same issue and couldn't work out the cause. Disabled the app and all was back to normal. The login screen was fine for me though.
macOSLucidaGrande 2016.12.20 only adds support for Bold font weight and does not fix other known issues. I have looked into the empty character issue and will continue to do so. Meanwhile, apart from the missing dots, password entries themselves should work fine.
@HiKay , as for now, i see a certain degree of enhanced security in this bug/feature. It is very convenient in some cases, no one can see how many chars you have in your passwords :) 👍
@HiKay what about just editing the appropriate glyph in the Lucida Grande font and change it back to SF? In other words, the • character is SF but everything else is Lucida Grande. I use ttfedit - https://sourceforge.net/projects/ttfedit/ - to edit fonts' glyphs.
@HiKay Any update on the password character issue? Do you have any insights to share, so that other developers (such as myself) can help?
When can we test the High Sierra version?
And will this blank password character issue be fixed?

The latest version of macOSLucidaGrande (2017.11.10) adds support for macOS High Sierra and includes an updated UI for font switching. Unfortunately, the blank password issue is not yet fixed.

Hi! i've installed your programme and got the blank password issue. So i uninstalled everything but still got the problem. Reinstalled macOS Sierra but still the problem! How do i get it back?
