No internet access after connecting to wireguard vpn

There is no mention anywhere that you need to substitute the network interface name of your server in the configuration file here: screenshot-Wed Aug 17 07:04:53 AM IST 2022

If you dont then your netconnection would not work after connecting to the wireguard instance.

also think its better to add a ufw rule for the port 51820, because i found the results to be otherwise finicky.

Is your server Debian 11? The default interface is eth0.

No it's Debian 10.
