can't select the template path

I have a similar problem, but it hasn't resolved itself yet. It seems as if the plug-in doesn't register the user looking for a template. It occurs on both IOS and Windows.

I'm getting a similar issue. The second I change tabs or close settings the templates path is gone, templates don't work.

@putink Please close the issue with how you resolved it.

For others, I had the same issue and resolved it by actually installing Templater: this plugin relies on Templater and you can only select templates from your Templater templates directory, so make sure that setting is properly specified in Templater first.

I had it installed but I've updated my Templater and the templates path and now it seems to find the template. However Templater commands are not being executed and remain as such...

Still getting the problem. Here is a video in a sandbox vault with templater installed and folder and template defined on latest version and latest version of Obsidian on mac. No other plugins installed.

An error is thrown when trying to find the template.
